United Nations Security Council — Bahrain Delegation
Designed and produced for the Bahrain Delegation as the Kingdom took its seat on the UN Security Council. Each set holds some of Bahrain's oldest crafts, made by the hands that still practice them. The set carries two hand-thrown and glazed pottery cups bearing the delegation's palm emblem, an oak incense burner finished with brass studs after the traditional Bahraini chest, and hand-rolled incense sticks, housed in bespoke packaging with a bilingual insert. Qirtas led the project end to end — concept, design, artisan production and packaging.
EXPO 2025 Osaka
Official merchandise and VIP giveaways designed and produced by Qirtas. Products included tote bags, notebooks, Clipens, 3D-printed chopsticks, tenugui towels, washi tapes, brass clips, eternal pencils, pins, magnets, and handmade pottery cups. All designs drew from original research to connect Bahraini and Japanese culture through shared crafts and narratives.
Infracorp Annual Event
For Infracorp's annual event, we designed and producted their corporate gift packages to mark the milestone; a handmade leather case holding a notebook, a branded pen and two decks of playing cards - the cards designed in-house by Infracorp highlighting the locations of the company's developments. A gift built for employees and distinguished stakeholders, it makes the case that play belongs in proffessional culture rather than apart from it.
Tamkeen
For three consecutive years, Qirtas designed and produced corporate kits, including office weekly planners, notepads, practical tote bags, PU leather mouse pads, custom leather folios, slim metal pens, and gel pens. All items were tailored to Tamkeen’s brand and created to be practical, high-quality tools for daily use.
Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition — 50th Anniversary
Customized Clipens in two colors for the 50th anniversary rebrand, designed by Studio Antrift and produced by Qirtas. Unique patented design, created as official merchandise for the event. Sold out.
Contemporary Arts Biennale — Riyadh
For three consecutive years, Qirtas produced the official merchandise and VIP giveaways. Products included tote bags, bottles & tumblers, coasters in multiple materials, plantable pencils, luggage tags, reusable bags, brass clips, and more. Materials were selected for sustainability and innovation, with full adaptability to the foundation’s brand guidelines. Qirtas have also conceptualized basketballs, skateboards and custom-made scents for soy candles.
Islamic Arts Biennale — Jeddah
Official merchandise tote bags produced by Qirtas for the Diriyah Biennale Foundation. Embroidered cotton with an oversized inner canvas tag featuring the design of Jeddah’s Hajj Terminal.
EXPO 2020 Dubai — Bahrain Pavilion Official Merchandise
Official pavilion merchandise designed and produced by Qirtas, including nine notebooks in A5 & A6, two tote bag designs, and a 3D-printed bookmark based on the traditional Mashmoom ornament. Each item carried a researched narrative rooted in Bahrain’s heritage — palm groves, pottery, and pearling — tailored for an international audience. Select items remain bestsellers five years on. IKEA — Eid Cards
Custom Eid card design for IKEA, distributed internally to staff along with bonuses. Created to reflect IKEA’s brand while sharing the joy of Eid.
